Herb Scott Catering and Lil & Roy’s Barbecue

Herb Scott Catering started in 1999, but its roots go back for generations. Three generations of Scotts have served the Philadelphia food community with amazing eats. Herb’s father owned the Colony Park Inn Restaurant in Philadelphia for many years, and his grandfather was a chef as well. Delicious food and friendly service were always the most important goals of the Scott family, and Herb Scott Catering carries on that proud tradition of serving the Philadelphia food community with fresh food purchased from local vendors and prepared with a special touch of culinary magic. We specialize in upscale versions of classic favorites from many cuisines, from American to French, Moroccan, Spanish, West African, and more.

HERB SCOTT

Manager

Herb Scott started working in his father’s restaurant at the age of six and hasn’t lost his love of food service since. He spent four years working with Steve Poses in the Frog/Commissary restaurants, places that are so memorable to the Philadelphia food community. But Herb found his true love in off-premise catering, where he can cook, serve, and clean up the location of your dreams rather than being confined to one restaurant.

CHRISTINE MARTIN

Head of our front office

Christine is the head of our front office, prepared to give you all the information that you need and organize your event so that you can relax and enjoy it. Christine has worked for Herb Scott Catering for 4 years employing her organizational skills to plan fabulous events for the Philadelphia food community.

AMY GILLIN

Design consultant and on-call florist

Amy is the design consultant and on-call florist. She has worked in the flower business for 33 years and was a long-time employee of the late, great Hilton’s Flowers in northeast Philadelphia. Flowers and décor can help bring your vision to life, and Amy is here to help you realize that vision.

AMANDA BURGOS

Event Supervisor

Amanda has been using her considerable skills in tact and organization as an Event Supervisor for Herb Scott Catering since 2007. Her sincere desire to make sure every client is happy with our services makes each event her highest priority. Amanda gives her personal touch to keeping everything running smoothly whether the occasion is a small intimate party for friends or a large corporate event. She takes charge of the “big picture” by making sure every detail is impeccable.
